Who am I
I was adopted by an ex-Catholic priest and nun. They got me Naturalized as an American in San Luis Obispo around 1984. My astrological sign is Taurus, and my birth flower are Lillies of the Valley. My favorite colors are red, yellow, and blue. My favorite numbers are 7, 11, and 21. My birth stone is the emerald; however, my favorite is the ruby. I like white gold or silver.
I go by my middle name, Rafael, because ever since I was a little boy everybody called me by my middle name, and I agree because living up to my first name is a very big deal. I remember when I went to Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School back in my hometown of Paso Robles, CA. We had to wear uniforms, blue corduroy pants and a blue uniform shirt. I played on the basketball team. We were very good and won all the time. I think we even won some trophies and sometimes even beat schools in Divisions higher than ours. Paso Robles is in wine country and close to Hunter Liggett, the military base. Templeton, Atascadero and San Luis Obispo were also very close to us. We lived at 749 Olive Street.
I went to Paso Robles High School, and our mascot was the Bearcat. I tried out for the football team my freshman year but didn’t get to play the first game because I was too small, so I switched to Cross Country running and Track. I did well and I believe some of the team trophies we won are still there. I had several girlfriends. In fact, my first girlfriend was a senior when I was a freshman. I started working right away from elementary school, starting with a newspaper delivery job which I did on my bike. I also worked other jobs eventually like a High School and Wedding Receptions DJ, KFC, and Carl’s Junior. After High School I moved to Los Angeles so I could attend DeVry Institute of Technology, but I could not afford it and I didn’t know anything about student loans at the time, so I went to work at UPS. UPS wasn’t giving me enough hours, so I looked into the military and settled on the Army.
I went to basic training at Fort Jackson, SC and learnt so many new things that still to this day help me in life, especially respect and how to cope in difficult situations. After basic training I went to Fort Gordon, GA to learn get military training in my job. After AIT, I went to my permanent station and was flown overseas to Germany. Soon after we arrived I was deployed to SWA in support of the Gulf War against Iraq. We entered Iraq in full MOPP gear and drove through a mine field on both sides of our path. We were with 7 Corps at the time, 22nd Signal Brigade, 51st Signal Battalion. After the war our base was closed, and I switched to a new MOS 31F and we moved from Ludwigsburg to Darmstadt, Germany.
I went to PLDC at Baumholder and NCOA in Fort Gordon, GA. I also traveled around Europe on my time off. I wanted to make the Army a career, but I started having problems and left after about 8 years in service. After the military I looked for a job and got one with Onizuka, AFB in Sunnyvale, CA but they eventually had a base closure. I decided to go to college and did with the College Army Fund and G.I. Bill.
Eventually I moved to Sacramento County and met my second wife whom I had two children with. I bought a house in Elk Grove, CA with a VA Home Guarantee on a short sale. I eventually moved to Citrus Heights and sold the first home then bought a second home there.
Unfortunately, my second wife and I got an amicable divorce. We were separated for about 8 years before we got our divorce.
Lately I have been working on a hobby project, publishing a book and releasing three music albums of eclectic, workout, and relaxing music.
The name of the book I published is called "Letters to the World", by me, Jesus Rafael Weber. My music can be found on iTunes, Amazon, Pandora, etc. under my stage artist name of "JRW 21".

Some of the Authors that I Read Books From
1. ** I have read well over two hundred books since I learned how to read English, from children’s books to fiction to non-fiction books to some classics, but mostly fiction and science-fiction especially. This does not take into account magazine and newspaper articles I have also read for school and college books I read also up to this year. For the last six years I have not been able to finish any books. I always start but can’t focus or my vision gets blurry. I hope in the near future I can start to read again because I love books and to read and especially to finish what I start to read. Today is Wednesday, April 2, 2,025 A.D.

Fun facts:
I love to watch a good NFL or soccer game (like FIFA) game, and also often fall asleep while it plays. The curious thing is I fall asleep often towards the beginning then wake up at the end.
I like to sneeze, but not too much. I usually can’t sneeze unless I look at a light or to the left or right of the sun.
When I am waiting for something, I wiggle my toes.
When I was younger I used to like to sketch bulls, castles, leaves on vines, and cityscapes. Later when I took an art class that centered on charcoals I did ducks and barns.
I used to play the violin, read and write music. At Christmas time when all of our families and friends of our families got together I played popular songs on it for them like nursery rhymes songs.
I don't like to step on leaves or flower petals on the ground; however, I do like to jump on a fresh, dry pile of leaves.
Everybody used to call me "Rafael" or Raffy, or Raf; however, sometimes some people called me "Ralph" and that hurt my feelings.
I don't like "dry" hard to swallow food like a dry cheeseburger or no sauce for the meat and veggies.
After I first got adopted to American parents I started odd jobs for money to buy stereo, Discover, and music cassettes by washing windows, running errands, recycling and also by weaving lawns chairs and even learned to Macrame.
"After all", I have found out that I like electronic, instrumental and most non-vocal music because I am upset about the type of lyrics many popular songs have. I like the music and the beats for example of pop not the lyrics of all most all of it.
When I lived in Germany, I had two barn cats, Shysy and Aisy, brother and sister and I got them as kittens. Then we got a Siberian AKC Certified Husky puppy from Florida, USA. Finally we got a Siamese kitten, Sina and when it got older we paid a stud owner to breed with it. From Sina we got another kitten, Boobibsa. I named all the pets. The funny thing was everybody except the Siamese cats slept on the heated waterbed with us. I bought the waterbed for $50.
When I was in Mexico, we went to a Chinese Restaurant. It was my first experience with Chinese anything in this lifetime. I loved it and fell in love with their tea, food and the aquarium in the restaurant it was really neat. Later in Germany I got my own aquarium, a salt water one was one of them. Before that I had a freshwater aquarium with glow fish, like lights in their bellies. I also had goldfish in a little one.
On my first day in Paso Robles I went for a walk to pick flowers for my mom Margaret from the neighbors’ yards. I did not know that was illegal! Yikes! I also got very lost and Margaret my mom and Robert my dad panicked and called the police to find me.
My favorite ice cream shop in Mexico was "31 Flavors" and I always got the bubble gum ice cream. Later I loved the soy ice cream in Humbolt County, from the Co-op. Finally I really like the Ben and Jerry's Chuky Monkey ice cream.
My favorite cars are convertibles. I had a brand-new LeBaron Chrysler convertible in Germany and got it shipped to the USA when I left the service.
I love the Floriade in Holland. The tulips festival, I was there for one. I also loved the Vincent Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam.
I love a variety of cheeses.
My favorite video games are: 1949, Centipede, Millipede, Dig Dug, Pac Mac, and Galaxa. Ok, I also like Donkey Kong, but it frustrates me sometimes! The Ape throws too many barrels down so fast!
In Mexico I used to get long canes of sugar cane and chew it all up.
When we went camping by the sea in California, I loved to get fresh black and green licorice and eat it. I also like it from the bag.
I love Yellowstone. I caught two really good trout from a river there and the restaurant at the Lodge cooked it for us, the Weber family.
I like snipe hunting. My uncle Frank introduced it to us, Kolls, Teakens, and Webers. If you don't know what snipe hunting is don't worry about it, just don't tell your kids until they get older, and don't forget your spoons, pots and pans!
In Mexico I used to drink Nesquik. Both vanilla and chocolate. I also used to eat carnation condensed milk, the super sweet kind on corn tortillas.
I really like hot corn tortillas with salt and lemon on them. I ate that in Mexico.
A super really gross thing about me is that I really like pickled pigs feet and menudo on Sundays.
In Paso Robles I used to chase deer up the hills. I liked running after them.
On one of my first Christmases in Paso Robles my mom and dad gave me my first bike. Later a friend of mine from Olive Street where I lived and I put plastic empty milk jugs on our front tire so the bikes would sound like motorcycles when we pedaled.
I like my steak with a bone and medium to well done nice and hot. My favorite meat are Lamb chops. Boy can I ever eat a lot of those! They are delicious!
I like to drink hot tea with a spoon. I like two lumps in my tea.
I love my Zodiac sign; however, even though my birth flower is "lilies of the valley", I also love Japanese blossom trees, with the pink and lavender leaves. When I look at all the petals around the tree on the ground I find it very peaceful and beautiful.
Emeralds are my birth stone; however, I also love rubies.
I love scrapbooks.
I love collecting Marvel and DC comics. I especially love the Marvel Universe comics and "What If".
I love collecting postcards from places I have lived at or have visited.
I used to really like playing the video game "Toe Jam and Earl".
